Review: Simone (I) (2010)

First I´d like to thank Jason "Joops" Fragale for making this film available to me.
After a night of hard partying, Simone (Jennifer Ward) awakes unsure of the events that took place. The mystery deepens as her focus becomes clear leading to a chilling discovery. Simone is written by Frazer Lee and directed by Jason Fragale. Simone is a supernatural erotic horror story, it´s in the non-linear format, the story progresses primarily through the use of flashbacks, as Simone recalls the previous night's events. The film is beatifully shot (by Jerry Orzel) and edited, the acting is good and Jennifer Ward does an amazing job as Simone. There is very little dialogue, but the musical score helps create steady tension and atmosphere. There is large dose of eroticism and some gore on display.
This review is based on a online source uploaded by the director. For more information about Simone, including how you can order a copy, check out the film's website: http://www.386films.com
Rating: 6 out of 7. Simone was a real nice surprise, well made and tense through out it´s 16 minutes of running time. I'm really happy that Joops gave me the opportunity to view Simone, and I look forward to see more of his work.
